About

Local engineering, backed by research

Colin W. Hunter, P.Eng, founded C W Hunter Research & Engineering Inc. to give builders and designers in Northwestern Ontario a structural engineer who is local, responsive and easy to work with.

Colin trained at Seneca College and Lakehead University, and he is completing a PhD in civil engineering at Lakehead. That research background shows up in everyday work as careful analysis and a willingness to measure and test instead of guessing.

Small jobs get the same attention as large ones. If you're not sure whether your project needs an engineer, ask. A short conversation usually answers it.
